Bat-Orgil Bat-Erdene is the Co-founder and Chief Exploration Officer (CEO) of the New Nomad Institute. He is a social entrepreneur, policy advocate, and communicator dedicated to addressing the climate crisis and advancing equitable, high-quality education.

Previously, he led youth empowerment programs at the Zorig Foundation, a prominent local NGO, and produced explanatory journalism and civic education campaigns, reaching millions with Unnu.news, an independent media outlet based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. He has also served the wider community by volunteering for the Global Shapers Community in Ulaanbaatar and London.

Bat-Orgil holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Arizona W.A Franke Honors College and an MPA in Innovation, Public Policy, and Public Value from University College London. He was recently selected as a Schwarzman Scholar and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China,
